2024 ATJA Judo Nationals

2024 ATJA Judo Nationals is an annual national judo tournament that will be held in Wendell, NC (near Raleigh, NC). This tournament is sanctioned by USA Judo and American Traditional Jujutsu Association (ATJA). All ages and skill levels are welcome. USA Judo and ATJA insurance applies, if you are a member of another organization, you can play at your risk and must sign a waiver. For 2023, we had 176 registrations.

Registration is ONLINE ONLY. There is NO REGISTRATION ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT!

Date: Saturday, July 13

Venue: Central Baptist Church, 11109 Poole Rd, Wendell, NC 27591, United States

Cost: $65 first division, $30 for additional divisions

Kata is $75 per team

-- Please be aware that there will be NO day of event registration available. In order to participate in the tournament, all participants must have pre-registered before the registration deadline. This ensures a smooth and efficient tournament experience for everyone involved.

-- The current list of participants will be kept private until the bracket is tentatively posted. This measure is in place to maintain fairness and avoid any potential influence on the bracketing process. The tentative bracket will be posted on Friday, July 12th at 8:00 PM.

-- Finalized brackets will be posted (on Smoothcomp) after the weigh-in process has been completed on July 13th. We understand the importance of having accurate and up-to-date brackets, and we want to ensure that all participants have the opportunity to review and prepare for their matches accordingly.

We kindly request all participants to regularly check the tournament website for any additional updates, announcements, or changes to the schedule. We are committed to providing a well-organized and enjoyable experience for all judo athletes, coaches, and spectators.

Schedule:

Check In/Weigh In: Friday, July 12 6-8 pm or Saturday, July 13 7-8:00am

Saturday, July 13:

7-8am: Check In/Weigh in

- At 8:15am, if you have not completed weigh in/check in, then you WILL be removed from the bracket and no refunds will be provided.

8:30 am: Referee meeting and information

9am: Opening Ceremony/Competition starts

Medal will be awarded shortly after the bracket is completed, throughout the day.

Note: Tournament Director reserves the right to combine divisions as necessary.
